
I've been tracking the rumors about the supposedly upcoming Google Phone with interest. The latest has it that it will be released in the
first quarter of next year. I've been a dedicated Mac fan since my dad purchased the original
Mac 128k, but I think I might bypass the iPhone in favor of this. Best I can figure, Google has out-Appled Apple. Let's face it: The iPhone seems to have succumbed to feature-creep. It does a lot, but doesn't do anything particularly well. Google, on the other hand, is keeping things simple and focusing on what it's good at -- Google Maps with GPS could turn out to be the iPhone killer. Of course, so could
